An idea

Why not have the presidential candidates sit down with someone who has no political capital to lose? Why not have them sit down with Andrew Sullivan, or Hitchens, or Mark Steyn, or David Brooks, or George Will, or anyone else who will say what they think intelligently instead of these debates where candidates tiptoe around each other. After all they will be dealing with people who will do a lot worse than call them on their bullshit. A naive wish I know.
